I am spending the whole of this week with the same group. They are a mix of culinary students and chefs from Pennsylvania. The leader of the group, Jim, was with me with a group four years ago and has wanted to repeat the experience ever since. They arrived in Seville on Sunday after two days in Madrid. That afternoon we went on my half-day olive oil tour which I think everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Below is a photo of the olive oil tasting that we did. We had a great meal that evening but I was too engrossed in the food and wine that I ddn’t take any photos.

On Monday the group started with a cooking class with the chef I normally work with. Amongst other things they learnt how to make gazpacho, Spanish omelette and proper paella. The photo below shows the paella in the making.

After a guided tour of in the afternoon which included the cathedral and the Barrio Santa Cruz we all went on an evening tapas tour. Below are photos are two of the bars that we went to.

Tomorrow I will continue with what we did yesterday and today.
