\nOn Thursday (13th March) we spent the day visiting hte Sierra of Arcena where the emphasis was on the Iberian pig. We started with a tour of a ham-curing factory in the town of Jabugo where we were taken around by my good friend Gerardo.<\/div>\n

\n<\/a><\/div>\n

\nWe then headed off to an organic Iberian pig farm where we spent almost 5 hours. The group learnt about everything that goes into making the finest Iberian ham and all the other Iberian pork products. As the weather was superb we sat outside for a wonderful lunch.

\nFriday was a long day as we went to Granada. This was more of a cultural visit tha anything with two hours to look around the Albaic\u00edn distric,t and then after lunch a lot of time to explore the incomparable Alhambra. Our guide for the day, Israel, did a wonderful job.<\/p>\n

\nOn Saturday the group had a free day until the evening when we had our farewell dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant Abantal. The meal was excellent and a fitting way to finish what I think was a great week in Seville.<\/div>\n
