I have already commented on two of the “en rama” wines from Lustau, the fino from Jerez which you can see here and the manzanilla from Sanlúcar de Barrameda here. Over the last few days I have been drinking the “en rama” fino from El Puerto de Santa María. This wine like the other two is superb and again has been selected from just one cask out of a total of 347. On the nose there are aromas of roasted almonds, yeast, wood smoke and herbs. On the palate it also minerally with a citric streak and is very tangy. If you like fino and manzanilla this wine and the other “en rama” bottlings are well worth seeking out; you will not be disappointed.
